Lessons is where teaching lives on Allied Tribes. Build a course from lessons and quizzes, sell it on its own, or include it in a paid Tribe tier, and keep your students talking in the same place they learn.

> **Looking for a course platform?** If you searched for an online course platform, Lessons is the Allied Tribes name for courses.

## How selling a course works

1. Build the course from lessons and quizzes. Freya can draft course content with you.
2. Price it on its own, or gate it behind a paid Tribe tier.
3. Buyers pay through Stripe Checkout and are enrolled when the payment succeeds.
4. Refunds and disputes remove access automatically.

## Why a course does better inside a Tribe

Students can ask questions in the feed, join a live room for office hours and learn alongside each other. On Allied Tribes the course, the group, the events and the live calls are one product, so there is nothing to stitch together.

## Fees

Allied Tribes takes 11% of sales on Free, 5% on Pro ($11 a month) and 3% on Leader ($111 a month). Stripe's processing fee is separate, and payouts go to your own Stripe account.
